Onaï was born from a journey, a trip to Colombia that opened our eyes and hearts.

As we traveled through the country, we discovered stunning, handcrafted earrings: bold, intricate, made with beads, iraca palm, Murano glass, and golden light metal. Beautiful pieces handcrafted by the women of Emberá-Katío, indigenous artisans who pass down their techniques through generations.

Each piece seemed to carry its own rhythm, its own soul. Rich in culture, deeply symbolic, and full of life. We were moved not only by the beauty of their work, but by the power it held and the stories it told without words. That’s when the idea of Onaï took shape.

We felt a strong desire to give these women’s creations visibility in Europe, to create a space where their heritage could be celebrated, appreciated and enjoyed.

We created the Onaï brand and packaging as a way to empower this artisan work, a tool to bring visibility to a beautiful, authentic product. Today, Onaï continues to grow. Every pair of earrings supports the women who made them, while bringing a piece of Colombia to the world.
